For Hermes, silk ties are a cornerstone of the men's collection, but the French leather goods house says that a tie needn't be restrictive or prescriptive. Indeed, its autumn/winter 2012 catalogue suggests not only different ways of wearing a tie, but challenges us to re-think their place in the wardrobe, whether formal or casual. The season sees the release of a collection of 8 models of ties, each in heavy silk twill with a width of 8 centimetres.
